Day 110: 21/12/12
Rang the agency this morning but no work again. I went back to sleep then for a while. Then I rang the department and the immigration office and the teaching agency about my registration being up on the 4/3. It looks like that's the way it's going to be as it was processed on the 4/9, even though I didn't start working until the 19th and that was only for two days. I thought I was being a great girl registering as soon as I could but it obviously wasn't that good of an idea! It doesn't matter either that they are on holidays for eight weeks out of the six months, which is an awful balls. So in February I'm going to have to think of something else to do or somewhere else to teach.
I tidied up the room a bit, dossed around for a while and went to see Rise of ge Guardians. It's a very good children's film. I'd reccomend seeing it over the holidays!
I dossed around for another while at home then and I was planning on meeting Shane to get the voucher off him so I could go shopping tomorrow but it hasn't arrived yet.
Mike text then to see if I wanted to go into town to see an Irish group that were playing in King George Square. Siobhan knew them from the last time she was here. They were only playing for about twenty minutes but they were really good- very lively! They have a cd but I didn't buy it as I don't have anything to play it on! Ill have to look them up on iTunes. They are called Sasta.
We had a few drinks in a pub in town then. We were just chatting really. No major scandal but was good Craic. It took a while to get a taxi home as half the country seemed to be out! We got one eventually anyway!
I'm now officially on the 22nd of December and the world hasn't ended!
