Day 74: 15/11/12
I got work again today in the school I was in yesterday, but year 2 this time. They have an Irish teacher anyway so no problems with my accent!
The teacher had work left for them. She had spelling work left first but they didn't have their spellings so we played a word game instead. Then they had swimming. I had to go to a different room while they were swimming. I was in a prep room. They were all set up- some having a snack (brain food), some tallying colours on a spinner and others writing a letter. It was interesting to be in there for forty minutes! When I went back to my collect my class from swimming one of them had run away. A teacher had gone after him and who I inquired he was in the office. When he came back to class he told me he had gone half way home! That's what they get for shoving me in another class while they are gone swimming!!!
After break they had Maths to do aswell as story writing and some ball work outside. After the next break all the year 2 classes came together for dance. They were told to make groups of 3,4 or 5 people an make up a dance for the octopus' garden song. Talk about chaos!! There were tears as people wanted to be in different groups! I don't know what the teacher in charge was thinking as there was no real instructions on what to put ino their dance. Most were just messing! I spent the whole hour trying to stop people crying or arguing!!
After school I got a call from another school I was in weeks ago to work tomorrow-year 2 again. I hope there are no years this time!!
I didn't do anything really all evening- just dossed at home.
