Day 45: 17/10/12
Up early this morning. Skyped Mam and Dad while I waited for a call, but no call!
I spent the morning looking up weekend and evening jobs so that I could do the teaching aswell. I applied for a few- mostly cleaning and babysitting! One woman rang back where she was looking for someone to help mind her kids for a few hours on Saturdays and Sundays. She asked a few questions and said shed ring back. She was looking for someone Australian really so I doubt I'll hear much!
One of the places of accompdation for backpackers and short term lease rang back aswell and I'm going to view it on Saturday. It's 150 a week which is dearer than what was advertised, but still that's all bills and everything included so I doubt I could get much better. It's only a half hour walk from ye main street aswell so that's good! So well see how good or bad it is on Saturday!
I wasn't up to much else today- I read a book!
When Shane came home we had to go to the shop as these lads go through milk and bread like nothing I've ever seen before!! Shane went to the gym then and I finished the dinner.
After dinner we managed to Skype Alva! Had good craic catching up with her! She got to meet two of the other lads aswell when they came home!
