Day 95: 6/12/12
Today I was back in one if the classes I was in a few weeks ago. The teacher had work left so it was grand. The lad that had been playing up the last day was okay for the first while. They had reading groups to do first. I don't think he was in the right group but as long as he wasn't messing I didn't care! After that they had to write a story and he wouldn't sit down at all. He was going round the room trying to get everyone's attention and then got a scissors and was pretending to cut himself! Lovely decking lovely!! I tried all sorts of coaxing and ended up just eating the arse of him and he sat down!! He didn't write much but he stayed in his seat!
After break they had swimming and music so I was sent to the library to put stickers on books for cataloging- it was very relaxing!!
At second break half the class got to watch a movie as they were on silver level behaviour. It was Silver Screen! The rest of us had to make Christmas booklets for their concert tomorrow. After yerman told me I wasn't the boss of him and he could sit wherever he liked he calmed down cos he realised he could use stickers and glitter!! So I it through the day with him anyway! Apparently he just acts like this when the relief teachers are in and is settled enough for the normal teacher- I dunno!! At least he didn't run out today!
I went into town on the bus today and sat down with some water. I coughed and next thing I had a nose bleed! It was weird as one of the people working in the library today said how her and her kids were getting nose bleeds in this dry weather- she must have passed it on to me! It didn't last long though.
I called to Mikes house then for the evening and the tea and the dinner and a chat! When I came home and was about to go to bed I got another nose bleed!
