Day 37: 9/10/12
I was just noticing that I am over 100 days gone! I had 64 days in South America and am on 37 over here! It's crazy- time has flown!
I was woken up a few times last night as the lads came home at various hours with no key!
In the morning I decide to go to the shipping centre- there were a lot of hungover heads still sleeping so I thought it was best to clear out!
I had to get my hair cut first. That's been on the agenda for a few weeks! I needed a colour aswell. I went for blonde highlights, but thu aren't great. It's a s***ty dull blonde and I don't know about the cut either, after I giving $204 for it! I think I'll get Shane to cut it next time!!
I also wanted to get an odd teachery looking outfit, so bought one or two bits. Whatever I have now will have to do! I'm not buying any more clothes until Christmas!
I had been looking at the little laptops- the netbooks for ages. Everyone has them travelling and they are awful handy as you can back up everything, incase you lose your camera or whatever. I needed a new one anyway and it would be handy for teaching so eventually today I gave in and bought one! It isn't dear compared to a normal laptop, but it isn't cheap when you don't know when your next wages are coming!! Anyway, I got a taxi home fairly quickly, before I could spend anymore money!!
The lads were up when I got back but all extremely sick! The weekend had finally taking its toll! I spent the day updating the laptop and installing things. I've the photos all on it now and will get the Tasmania ones on Facebook tomorrow hopefully, unless I'm working. Also, have to look for accompdation. That's what I was supposed to be doing today, but got distracted!! I've no excuse now that I have a lovely new netbook to look places up on!
Spent the evening watching tv with the lads. We were watching a film and all of a sudden the power went. There was no fuse blown or anything- some problem on the street. So we had to go to bed then!
