Day 73: 14/11/12
Another call this morning. Three days in a row!! Jes I'll be wrecked!! I had to run to get the bus this morning but I made it!
It was a year 6/7 class. I was afraid they would be cheeky but they weren't at all- a little bit chatty but nothing major! The teacher was on a pd day (professional development!) so he knew he would be out and left lots of work. We had to do a spelling sheet, a worksheet on drawing and measuring angles and learn about alliteration, assonance and consonance in poetry (had to have a quick reminder for those!!) Then they had library time where they all typed out poems they had written before. After that we were supposed to do a worksheet about food webs on the coral reef. We didnt have that much time and I didn't know any of the answers so we talked about life in Ireland instead! For the last hour year 7s had dance and the year 6s were practicing for a film they are going to record so I just had to watch! All good!
There was one special boy in the class. There were a few actually but one in particular! He spent most of the day pretending to choke people and then acting out a scene where he was pretending to be the paramedic! That was going on outside the class thankfully! He also came right up to me and asked if I had a baby in my tummy- not good!!
Got home easily enough. The bus came very quickly and was going right to the station near the house. I watched some programmes on the laptop and skyped home. I never have any news to tell as its all here but it's good to hear everything from home!
