Day 102: 13/12/12
I got up a bit late this morning and washed, dressed and sorted myself before ringing the agency as I didn't think they give you much time to get ready. There was one morning I rang them at 8 a few weeks ago and they rang back with a job in a few minutes. So I rang around 8 again this morning. They had said to ring after half seven. This morninh they said that most of the work was gone but they'd ring me if any came up, but they didnt ring! From now on ill have to ring at half seven!! First in!!
I was waiting around for a while hoping for a call and then I started reading one of the books Shell gave me. I got wrapped up in that and it passed most of the day!
In the evening then I got ready to go to dinner. Mike and Sean came to my house and we walked to the restaurant. Shane met us there! They do brilliant steaks apparently which the boys all had- I had chicken! It was lovely! Most of the chat was anout Shanes work as hes working late and he got sunburned!; about Sean Going home for Christmas and about some girl in the office with Sean thats getting notions! Mike treated us to dinner and Shane gave me a card with a voucher for the shopping centre- so I was spoiled again! Afterwards we went for a McFlurry and then back to my house where I gave them their respective Christmas presents from the parcels. They were well chuffed! The bottles in the picture caused great excitement! Shane was concerned about Shells opinion of him as she got him a tie saying 'kiss me its Christmas' and a 'grow a girlfriend'- he's wondering if she thinks he needs this much assistance!
That was the night anyway. They all have work in the morning so it wasn't a late one. I don't know if I'll try to work tomorrow or not. Seen as I've been off all week it wouldn't be a great idea to start now! Ill see when I get up!
