Day 10 Oz: 12/9/12
Shane was off today so he called over for me and we did some sightseeing. We drove part of the way into town and then got the ferry in. That was cool- sailing along the river with all the big buildings and fancy bridges around!
We got off at Southbank which is a nice tourist area. There's a man-made beach and lots of bars and restaurant. It's all kind of a park aswell with strange birds and pretty flowers. There's a big wheel there too and we took a spin on that. The city looks really pretty!
We got the photo taken going on the wheel so I had to buy that as a souvenir of Brisbane!
We had some lunch then- sitting in the open air, with a bottle of beer! That's the life!!
We walked across one of the bridges then into the city centre. We wandered around queen st for a while. Neither of us were really buying anything, but it was grand to look around. We went into a shop Shell would love- pure gangsta! You need a bit of swag to be wandering round in there so we got out again fairly quick!
We got the ferry back then and went to the house. The lads were home shortly after- plenty of abuse flying all sides!
Dinner, tea, tim-tams and xfactor for the evening!
