Day 13: 15/9/12
Lads were working this morning. I wasn't up too early. Mike was home again with the days work done and it felt like I wasn't up too long at all!
Watched some films on their hard drives- Taken (so we can go watch Taken 2) and Old School.
Had a trip to the Irish chipper- The Nicos of Brisbane. Then skyped home where there was nothing but bad news!!
Then myself and mike went in to meet Shane at a horse racing fundraiser for the state games team (with immodium in the handbag- ill let ye guess who for!). It was good enough Craic- charting away to the two lads and some of their friends. Warrior was there too so another face I knew! We went to go on to another pub afterwards but that was closed so we had to go to the casino. It seems to be the dove thing as ur was massive and full of people. It was like a nightclub really with bars and music- we didn't take much notice of the people at the gambling tables!
Went back to Shane's house then and sure started up chatting with him and a few others for half the night! All good craic but I'm too old for the late nights!!
