Day 79: 20/11/12
So back in the same school again today. I had looked up the bus times last night and was all set but obviously had put in pm instead of an as the bus didn't turn up when it was supposed to. There wa another one I could get 15 minutes later- good job I had left in plenty of time! On the way to the classroom I tripped over a step that I didn't see- great start to the day!
The guy that had been with his buddy class all day yesterday joined us today but he wasn't too bad. The other guy that had been under the table for a while yesterday was taken away again to work with someone else. So it wasn't too bad!
They had performing arts first, then swimming. We were in class for only a few minutes before the first break and then they had library where they could play on computers for an hour. I'm sure they could have been doing something more constructive than playing games but as long as the games were appropriate and they were quiet I didn't care!!
We did some maths after that but they found it hard to settle after all their wandering around all day. No major misbehaviour, but just not a lot of work. After that I had to mind my class and the other year 1/2 class for their 10 minutes eating time before play. They were really noisy which they hadn't been yesterday with the other teacher so I gave out. My class were okay and stayed quiet to get out for break. The other class payed no heed and I kept some of them last as they had been cheeky. They didnt want to listen at all and eventually I just let them out as they were probably never going to be quiet. Someone opened up the door in the corridor afterwards and shouted in 'big fat b****'. So seems there are bold kids in the other class too! My class have been hard to settle but noone has been that cheeky or bold, thankfully!
After break I had a PowerPoint about school in Ireland that we looked at. The Principal interrupted with some messages so we never got finished! At least it leaves me something to do tomorrow! Hopefully no name calling tomorrow!
After school I got the bus into town and then home. I got some stuff ready for school tomorrow and then watched he xfactor final. It's all over now- Samantha jade won it out- she's good! Watch out for her!!
