Day 78: 18/11/12
The storm continued for a while this morning and then was on and off for the day. Mam skyped again this morning as Noreen was there aswell. Plenty of chat with them and Dad.
I didn't get up to much really today. I washed clothes, swept the floor, tidied up a few bits, brought some groceries, the usual boring things!
I also spent a lot of the day reading as I had downloaded a lot of free books from kindle. It was interesting to sit at the window reading, watching the thunder and lightening outside. Sometimes there were really clear forks in the sky and then other times it was just like the whole sky was lighting up. At one stage the whole place went grey, you couldn't see across the river at all and there was really loud thunder. Then it all cleared up again.
There was some kind of a concert on today. I think it was in the botanical gardens which are across the river. It was going on all day. It stopped for the really bad thunder but played through most of it. I don't know who was playing or what was going on!
