Day 88: 29/11/12
Today I was to be with prep all day but there was a change of plan. There was a lunch at 11 for parents who help out with things in school and I had to spend the morning with year 5's getting the tables, chairs and place settings ready. The year 6's and 7's were cooking. It looked like they were going to get a nice feed- pizzas and lots of different salads!
After break I was with prep. They had silent reading and then they were supposed to write about Alvin and the Chipmunks that they watched in the morning. They were really tired and had no interest! We got something on paper for everyone but it was the bare minimum! After second break they had rest and then they practiced their songs for the show next week.
So it was an easy day, except for the heat! I was outside most of the morning as the lunch was in a covered area but outdoors. I had to walk to the shop aswell as they had forgotten to get a gluten free pizza base but the shop didnt have them! After that I was on duty! So I spent the first half of the day sweating!!
Tomorrow I was supposed to be with prep but that has changed now to year 3/4. I could end up anywhere! They also asked if I could come back for a day next week subbing in year 6/7. There's some cheeky ones but on Tuesdays they have activities most of the day so it should be fine!!
I didn't do much this evening! I keep putting off labelling photos and editing the blog! They're just boring jobs!! Watching homeland is more entertaining.
