During the class with Punch-kid I was sat on one of the small Kindergarten chairs to teach the class.Punch-kid ran over to me and started hitting the book in my lap, he was really attacking it.I tried to ignore him, so then he punched my arm hard and ran back to his seat.The other children saw what happened, and one at a time three other little boys came up to my chair looking sad and gave me a kiss on the cheek, like they were trying to make me feel better after my Punch-kid attack.How cute!

I had another English conversation class with the teachers and they told me today was winter solstice day and it is traditional to eat ear shaped dumplings on this day.One of the teachers explained it is a tradition dating back to the Hang Dinosaur period, when in fact she meant Hang Dynasty.I explained the error she had made and roared like a dinosaur to explain what a dinosaur is, and they all thought it was funny.
