I gave two classes at the Happy Tree kindergarten in the morning then I went home for lunch.In the afternoon I met Miss Shi by the yard gate and we got a taxi to another school.I gave a one hour demo class to just 5 children.The parents were watching and I couldn't really do my usual games that I do with twenty or thirty children.I did the best I could anyway and I guess it was enough as I was asked to teach afternoon class at Wanhuatong Kindergarten every Saturday.

In the evening I got ready at Ruth's (a proper hot shower, yay!)as we were going to Lilly Coffee for a short movie party.We really had no idea what to expect.When I asked Mohamed earlier in the week, he just said 'be prepared for shooting movie'.Hmm did this mean watch a movie which involves a shooting, or actually film/shoot a movie?

There were only a few students at Lilly Coffee when we arrived and we got a coffee and some cookies before splitting into two groups.Of course the foreigners had to be separated; Ruth had one group and I had the other.My team was just made up of four Chinese boys.Each team was given two props which we had to use in the movie.My team's props were a scream mask and a large golf umbrella.They wanted the film to involve the monster trying to eat me so they would have to rescue me.I told them we needed a bit more of a storyline for a five minute movie.

The story agreed was that we were at a party and I went out to get more drinks.I bought a 'special drink' and was told by the creepy stall owner that everyone should just drink a little.When I got back to the party one friend didn't listen and just drank the whole drink.He transformed into a crazed monster and attacked all of the other friends.When only one boy was still standing, I cried out 'stop fighting' so they broke into a round of rock,paper,scissors instead.The monster won and all of the boys at the party were killed.I pulled out the umbrella and announced to the monster there was a gun hidden inside it.Then I shot the monster.I went back to the stall owner and told him his drink had killed all my friends.He told me there was an antidote but it was very expensive.I told him the price was worth the possibility of saving my friends.I went back and gave the antidote to all the boys.They all woke up but had lost their memory of the evening.When I told them what had happened, the movie ends with them all turning to me and saying "Michelle, don't buy special drinks!"

It was a lot of fun filming the movie and I've never done anything like it before.However, I don't think acting is my strong point and it was a little cringey watching it back.Luckily Mohamed had got us a bottle of Vodka so I was able to get quite tipsy after all that hard work.The guys in my team were really tall, and when we posed for a team photo everyone thought it was really funny how small I looked.I may be short but these guys were seriously tall!The students went home but the rest of us carried on drinking until quite late.Mohamed made me a strong black coffee before I went home.He swears it prevents a headache the next day.I'm not sure if it works but at least it stopped me falling asleep in the taxi on the way home in the early hours of the morning!
