I taught at Happy Tree in the morning and went to Wanhuatong in the afternoon. Three of the kids had their fingers in their nostrils at one point and I was getting fed up they were more interested in the contents of their noses than the lesson.I walked along the row of children and got each of them to remove their fingers.I noticed one girl had blood on the end of her finger, by the time I turned around to tell Sherry and turned back, her nose had begun to gush.I have never seen a proper nosebleed before; it was flowing out like someone turned on the tap!

In the evening I met Ruth and we went to the Pizza restaurant near my yard.I'd arranged to meet Dean and Shush, but Ruth said she didn't feel like going so she went home.I didn't actually have their address so I had to try to explain to the taxi driver using a school address and KFC as landmarks.Dean met me outside KFC and we went to the restaurant called 'Coffee Snack' and got some beer.Shush joined us a little while later and we all had a few beers and the waiter even brought us some free coffees.It was the closest I've been to going out to a bar on a Saturday night in a long time!
