We got up early to bowls of egg fried rice for breakfast with Miss Wang and her friend.This is surprisingly good for a morning after beer drinking.After we had eaten we were shown our new apartment in the same yard.We saw with our own eyes it has a shower and toilet!!It had a broken washing machine but we were told we can use the one at Miss Wang's place or the one at the Genius Baby Kindergarten, which will save our water and electricity usage anyway so is not all bad.

The four of us got taxi to Liaocheng University to look around and it had very nice grounds, with a lake that had fish in it.We walked up some steps by a waterfall, it was very slippery in flip flops and as I was struggling on the muddy step I was approached by a Chinese boy trying to ask me something, so I lost concentration and nearly slipped and he went to grab my arm.When I had stabilised myself he asked if he could have a photo of me and Jen with all his family.So his whole family climbed the steps to stand near us and we posed for the family photos.Then we climbed back down the other side which was just a grass slope with no steps, it was not the easiest thing to do in skirt and flip flops.They showed us the shopping area on campus which sells lots of useful household items, clothes and cosmetics very cheaply.I noticed there was a selection of hand creams which I was becoming desperate for, and as I searched for one which smelt nice I had to avoid various unusual options such as snake essence and skin whitening.

We went for lunch and even though they didn't put meat on top of my noodles there was meat in my soup and I was nearly choking when I realised (although I hadn't had any actual meat lumps, just the liquid) and I just told them it was too spicy for me to finish.

I got a taxi to Ruth's in the evening but it dropped me at the wrong place and I had to try to find her apartment in the pitch black so I called her to meet me and we went to the apartment so I could have a PROPER HOT SHOWER and use their internet.Afterwards I felt very refreshed and then I got a taxi but he didn't know where he was going so I had to shout and point to get home.
