I had a text from Alyssia (Miss Shi's daughter) to say they would be providing me with another quilt and also that Miss Shi would be in town to give me some books for my new Saturday job.While I was teaching at Flower Garden Miss Shi came and found me in the classroom.She laughed at the way the children climb all over me giving me hugs and kisses.I was glad she could see they like me.She got the assistant to translate that I could pick up a quilt from Miss Wang later on that day.She also told me she would pick me up by the yard gate at 8:30 on Saturday and gave me some books so I could prepare.Finally she said there is an American coming to Liaocheng at any time so I may be invited to meet them soon, possibly for dinner in Miss Shi's hometown of Chiping.

I noticed someone had hung their wet laundry next to a huge pile of mud in the street outside Flower Garden.The road is still being dug up as I've mentioned before and there are massive holes in the ground and piles of dirt everywhere.It amused me that they will hang clean clothes where they are just going to get filthy again before it's even had a chance to dry properly!

As I was walking past the Genius Baby on my way home I went in and found Miss Wang in her classroom.She gave me a really heavy (but very old looking) quilt.When I got it home I put it inside the quilt cover with the quilt I am already using.The double-up effect is now so heavy I can hardly move under it but it is nice and warm so I'm not complaining!
