I was feeling a bit ill but I decided to go to town to get some air. When I got off the bus I came over all dizzy and thought I was going to vomit.I was a bit surprised as I didn't even have any alcohol last night.I figured it was probably just because I hadn't eaten much all day and decided the best thing to do would be throw salt and sugar at it and hope it went away, so I went to KFC (I know, I know, but this was an extreme circumstance!) I had some chips and some Pepsi and started to feel a bit better despite the glow of the fluorescent lighting and the stares from the locals. One man said hello to me and I said hello back. His kid was playing in the play area so he was obviously bored. He told me he was an English teacher (yes, despite being Chinese) and he clearly wanted to talk.I wasn't really in the mood for talking, so I finished my chips and said goodbye.I started feeling a bit better so I went to have a look around some shops before getting the bus back home.
Later in the evening I was using Skype to talk to my mum, sister Christina and brother Ricky. It turned into a little bit of a family tiff (nothing serious!) but I couldn't help thinking to myself that's probably not what the makers of Skype had imagined it being used for!It was quite nice in a funny sort of way, I felt as though I could have been sat in the same lounge as them back in Bristol. The only thing missing was central heating and a nice cuppa tea!
