I went to Ruth's English corner and showed some of my own photographs of sites and landmarks in the UK.They were particularly interested in Stone Henge and the London Eye and we had some discussions about both.It is times like this I wish my knowledge of England and English history was greater.I feel very ignorant about my own country when faced with these knowledgeable students!
After the English Corner, Ruth and I went for dinner. We decided to try somewhere new along the road.We sat in one place but when I explained I don't eat meat they sent us out to the place next door.I was able to get a massive plate of noodles which tasted a little bit like Vegetable Chow Mein from a Chinese in the UK and it only cost 3 Yuan (30 pence) brilliant!
It was Chinese Shaun's birthday so I text him a Happy Birthday message. His reply "thank you, thank you very much, thank you for text to me, I'm so happy."Bless him!
