As I was walking back to my apartment after lunch, a lady and her daughter stopped me and tried talking to me but they didn't know much English.They were trying to get me to go with them to their apartment.First of all I said no, but they seemed quite keen to try and talk to me and kept saying 'welcome my home' so I decided to go along and see what they wanted.I followed them to their apartment, which is in the building directly opposite mine.The grandmother was at home cooking lunch and they started offering me food.I'd only just eaten and I didn't know how to explain.The only thing I could think to do was call Echo, I whispered to her 'how do I say I have eaten?' and as she told me I repeated it out loud and the woman seemed to understand.They went to sit at the dining table and I sat on the sofa while they ate.Then they came back to sit with me and the woman said her name is Hong Yan and she works for the bus manufacturer in town and her little girl is 9-years-old.After a while I said I had to go and I went home.
