It was raining so I took my umbrella, but it was really windy and I had to put it down.I did my morning classes at Flower Garden and then went home.As I walked towards my apartment, I couldn't see the path for tree and leaves and branches, I peered around it and there was an entire tree down on both sides of my apartment entrance.I had to go around the back of the apartment block and use the horrible dark tunnel for the first time to access my stairway.It is full of the sounds of crickets or grasshoppers or something and it's only really used by people who have bikes to park.I got to my apartment and the wind was howling but I wasn't sure if it was strong enough to be blowing trees down.I went for a nap as I had several hours until my afternoon classes.When I woke up to go to school the trees were no longer on the path.When I had a closer look, two trees were standing in the mud, being propped up by large branches.Now I'm not sure if I will ever find out if…

a)The trees had always been there, had blown down in the wind and then been propped back up?

b)The trees had not been there before, had been laid out on the path and then planted and propped up?

During my afternoon classes I was playing games with Pat the Panda.Most of the kids really love him now, and give him little kisses and cuddles when they pass him around.Cute!Except there is always one who has to spoil it.Some horrible little boy decided to spit on the Panda.I told him off but the teaching assistant thought it was funny and so he did it again.I took the toy away from him by the label so as not to touch the spit and put it in my bag.I guess I'll be hand washing that tonight.
