I've had a bit of a break with these blogs as I've had stuff to sort out (i.e. moving accommodation), and have been trying to go and do/see things, and I'm only just catching up, so hopefully I'll be up-to-date again soon.
Having used the airbrushes yesterday, we were given a demonstration of a more avant-garde style of make-up. I did my homework last night though I still needed to create my stencils, so I quickly knocked something up on my lunch break. Chrystal had her go first, in which she had to change her idea from a design littered with hearts to something more manly. Thankfully, the new design she went with was a tribal warrior theme. I should also add, that despite what I wrote yesterday, Chrystal is actually fine to work with, and I take back what I said yesterday.
I had my go after lunch, which I'll admit I struggled with at first, but with some guidance, managed to achieve something Nelly was happy with. It's only my second time using an airbrush for make-up, so I think what I did was fine.
After school, a few of us went to a Mexican bar for some excellent food, and a beer or two. We got back to our apartment and went for a cigarette on the patio. There were a few of us out there chatting for a while, and getting to know some of the other residents. A few of them disappeared and we continued talking about school etc., when another of the residents came out for a smoke. He was being a bit weird with us, asking a lot of strange questions, and generally attempting to be intimidating towards me. He began to walk off, but as he got about 20 foot away, he asked if I called him back… I hadn't said a word. Again, he was being intimidating, and this time started squaring-off. I asked him what his problem was with me, and whether or not I'd done something to offend him to get him so riled up. One of the other residents, Mike, got up and started telling him to back off, which lead to Frank (the nutter) pushing him around a bit. I told him to grow up and piss off back to his room, which he eventually did. Not being a violent person, I was a bit confused by the whole situation, and to be honest, a little afraid to stay there much longer. Jodie actually got picked up by a classmate to stay at her house for the night. Mike had obviously said something to Angie (the Academy House manager), as she came to my room to discuss what had just happened. I explained the situation, and lead me to Frank's room to try and resolve the problem. He was again being very strange, and kept repeating everything. I'm pretty certain he's on more than just weed, as he was very aggressive. Having 'sorted' things for the night.
I attempted to concentrate on the homework I had to do for tomorrow, though sleeping tonight my prove difficult. Bit of a downer to an otherwise good day. Hopefully, I'll be ok for school tomorrow.
