So I woke up early, having had a decent length sleep for a change, and it was pissing it down. The first time I've seen proper rain in over two months. It was also very blustery, so I was very wet after my walk to school…
I already knew that I'd be the model for the morning's demonstration, but had no idea what I'd end up looking like. Brad had decided to make me look like a tramp, more-so than I usually look. As you can see from the pictures, I look pretty dishevelled (on one side of my face), and had a face full of latex. Luckily, it's not one of the many things I'm allergic to. I couldn't be bothered to take it off until later, knowing that I'd have someone else apply latex to the half.
My partner for today was 蔡孟臻 (Mon, from Taiwan, hence the odd shaped letters!). I let her go first, as I was happy to have the rest of my 'bum' look finished. She managed to replicate the other side very well, and I truly looked like some kind of alcoholic pikey, more-so than usual.
There was a quick changeover, and I began my attempt on her, with my face still looking like an unused 'actor' extra from "Bumfights". I was very pleased with the outcome, as it genuinely looked like Mon had aged 40 odd years on one side of her face. Even Brad said it was good, so I must have done something right.
When I was done, I figured it was time to try and remove all the latex. This would prove to be more difficult than expected, as the latex tends to just peel away and fall off. This was very irritating, especially when I'm being rushed to remove it by Jen and Vicki who wanted to go for food and drinks. I could have said no, but I like drinks.
Jen lead us to a Mexican restaurant for some amazing food, and then to a bar a couple of doors down where it was $4 for a beer AND a shot of Tequila. Not a great idea, but after several beer/shot combos, I don't really remember what happened. Tequila is not a friend of mine, as some of you may know. I think I had a shower and passed out...
