Was in school even earlier today after going in with the new CMS students. They seem pretty eager to get in early.
Louis started off with a demonstration of a goatee and moustache on Manya, which we'd later practice on our partners. I paid a lot more attention to the application today, so was hoping the final result would be half-decent.
Before lunch, we attempted a couple of mo's on 'tuffy heads' (basically a fake rubber face for laying hair), and ended up with some weird satan-esque tash and beardage. Looked cool though.
As I promised Vicki I'd go first today, I started off with her goatee/beard, leading round to some nice burns, and finishing off with a tash. Louis pointed out the mistakes I was making, and it was extremely useful to have his critical input, so I'm hoping that tomorrow, I'll have something completely decent to show. I hope so anyway, as I'm gonna have to apply a moustache and some beefy muttons to Harry on Friday, and it needs to be perfect.
Vicki then did hers on me. I was so happy to have facial hair for a change (sorry… 'DECENT facial hair'), that I wore it home. I felt like a proper man! Especially as it was split into two parts and curled round. A true gentleman. I then had some fun removing it, starting with a a 'Chopper'-esque moustache, followed by the famous/infamous toothbrush moustache made popular by Charlie Chaplin, Oliver Hardy, 'Blakey' from 'On the Buses', and the 'Gumbys' from 'Monty Python's Flying Circus'… (All comedians)
…and some German dude who wasn't keen on the jews…
I did a bit more research for my character final on Friday and think I have my final idea nailed. I'm just hoping I'll be able to do it in the allotted time. I might have to get some practice in over the next couple of nights.
After popping to the overly crowded Novel for a few evening beers, I got back to Hobart where everyone was celebrating one of the new students birthdays, so had a bit of cake. Was good for everyone at Hobart to get together.
