The morning started off with continuing the work on our sculpts until we needed to get ready for the Face-Off Season 2 finale. It didn't take me as long to get ready as the girls, but I didn't have to do my make-up. Makes a change.
It was being filmed in Glendale, a really nice looking area in the north of Los Angeles. Everyone was looking their best, including me. It was a bit of a weird experience. I've never been to a reality show taping so wasn't sure what to expect. There was a lot of being directed to applaud and talk etc. and I was actually in the front row, so no doubt you'll see me when the show airs, clapping like mad. I can't discuss anything else as I've signed something to say I'd keep it quiet, but the make-ups were pretty good. No one knows the winner yet, but I'm keen to see how it turns out. I think it's out early 2012? I dunno.
I'd not eaten anything all day, and by the sounds of things, no one else had either, so there were 15 of us who ended up commandeering half an entire Sushi restaurant. I've never been to a proper sushi restaurant before I came out here, and I've now been to two within a week. It's very nice. Still getting used to using chopsticks though. I'm hoping I'll be a pro when I come home. Was cool to have so many people from different classes eating and drinking together. Makes it easier to get to know people away from the classroom.
Some of the others had gone to a bar in Downtown called 'Edisons', so we (eventually) got there for a few more beers. A few turned into several, and several lead to lots. For me at least. There was a dress code to get in, so it was lucky I still had Harry's suit on, or I'd have been turned away. Good fun though. Let's hope I don't feel awful tomorrow.
