Had a decent lay in today, catching up on some much needed rest after last night's shenanigans, and making sure I was ready for a free metal show this afternoon.

Molly and Christie picked me up around half 3 as the matinee kicked off at 4 and we needed to be there early to make use we could get in. As it's free entry, its first come = first served, meaning that the queue was hench. If you wanted to get in, you'd have to have RSVPed online during the week, and check you were on the guestlist. After queueing up for a bit, a few blocks down from the actual venue, I decided to walk up to the front and see if I could wangle my way in. The other two were on the guest list, and luckily I managed to blag my way to the front of the queue and went straight in. I was pretty lucky, as they turned a ton of people away. If I'd not hopped the line, I wouldn't have gotten in.

The lineup was New Lows, then Early Graves (who were amazing), and finally old school hardcore veterans, Cro-Mags. They were brilliant, and the crowd was insane. And it was all free!

Popped in to Rainbow Bar & Grill next door for a quick one, before heading back. Really needed an early night tonight to make up for yesterday.
