I didn't want to get up tis morning. Tequila was a bad choice. Still, I got to school, ready to be the model yet again. This time though, I'd be made up to look a lot less unkempt.
After a few hours of the demo, complete with sideburns, a wig, and a nice pair of shades, I looked awesome, resembling an ageing hit man. Or maybe a bit like Stan Lee. I had a proper moustache for a change, which I was a little upset to remove. it's the first time EVER I've had some decent looking facial hair. If only it was the end of November, I would have raised loads. I'll bear this in mind for next month.
After lunch, I paired up with Jodie to make her look old. Again, I don't think any of the girls are happy about seeing themselves old, and Jodie wasn't an exception. I looked across the other side of the room and saw that Mon had fallen asleep. I'm guessing she REALLY didn't want to see herself in the future. I could've done better today in getting the right skin-tones and colouring etc., but the time was limited and taking this into consideration, I didn't do too badly.
Jodie had been asked along as a make-up artist/hairstylist to a fashion show, so had to leave early, meaning I didn't get the over side of my face completed today. A bit of a relief, considering all I was doing last night at the restaurant and bar was picking bits off latex my face, and gave me more time to remove everything. Well, most of it.
I got back and showered everything off, and had chosen to have a night in with a film. This however meant i would have to find a new film to watch. As the internet is pretty cack here, I ventured out to rent a DVD. They're like vending machines out here. It's pretty cool as there's a good selection, but unfortunately, most of the titles had already been rented out. Eventually, I picked out 'Insidious', which I'd been told was rather good, and after a few beers at the Novel watching the Detroit Tigers destroy the New York Yankees (that's baseball by the way), I got back and sat down with some microwaveable popcorn to watch it… I'm living the American dream.
Terrible acting, irritating score, tacky cinematography, tongue-in-cheek dialogue, and a pretty lame storyline. I wasn't impressed at all.
Old age finals tomorrow, so hopefully I've picked up enough this week to do a good job. Hopefully.
