Woke up bright and early today, mainly to shower off the make-up from last night as I couldn't be bothered after the cinema, but also to do my sketch for today's lesson. I managed to find something to copy off Google (what a saviour it's been) and had in done with time to spare, so I did some tidying up of the horrendous state my box-room has become.

Mireille's away for a couple of days, so we had a subsitute tutor today, who'll be coming back for tomorrow too. Christina is actually from North London (Yid army!), and so maybe she was just overly nice of my application to Jennifer because we're both English, but I think I did a pretty good job. It was kind of an Amy Winehouse-esque, but on a prettier face. Thick eyeliner and bright red lips, but like I said, on a prettier face than Amy's... certainly now anyway...

I forgot to mention there was the obligatory demonstration by the new teacher before this, basically giving us an idea of the look she'd go for.

Jennifer was allowed to apply my make-up this afternoon, and luckily for me, she only had to apply a male make-up look. This meant far less scrubbing afterwards. I'm getting frustrated with having to remove liquid eyeliner and other gunk from my eyes and face every day. As you can see from the photo, and I think you'll agree, that I could well be the next up-and-coming men's fashion icon... maybe not though, eh?

There was another demo before the day closed of some more adventurous-looking high fashion make-up, giving me the chance to finish off one of my doodles*

Did a quick shop before returning to the 'box' to get some essentials; dinner, nail clippers, microwave meals, Tracker-bar-type-things, and finally, some Beef Jerky. Looking forward to that!

Having realised the internet was being crappy again, I've been sat outside on the patio for several hours researching this week's homework, checking facebook, and downloading some episodes of things to watch, using the totally free, and much faster bit-rate, internet I can get out here. I may just stay in tonight to finish this week's sketches, as there's a couple of gigs at the end of the week I want to get to, though I may pop for a quick pint or two at the Novel, I haven't decided yet! Unfortunately, the weather is getting a bit cooler now, so I'll have to venture in for some food. I may have to start wearing a hoody soon...
