Had to make sure I was up early today as Chanel was picking me up to take us to some of the make-up stores in North Hollywood. Means I don't have to faff around getting lost on buses and stuff. Instead, we got confused driving there. Started off in Naimie's before heading to Frends. They recognised me again, and explained to them I wouldn't be spending anything today. After spending 50 bucks on sculpting tools, we checked out Nigel's, but this wasn't so great.

I managed to retrieve my bag (including laptop) back from the Gaylord where Vicky had left it there with someone else from school and headed back to get my Facebook fix and watch 'Green Lantern'. It was pretty naff.

The Return of the Living Dead was being shown on the big screen not too far away tonight at midnight, and it was only 7 o'clock, but I was so bored I decided to go out for a wander. My wander lasted well over an hour walking down Beverly Blvd in search of the cinema, past pretty much nothing of interest. Knowing that The Grove farmer's market wasn't too far away, I headed there for a few beers. A few of the shops had shut already, but I managed to get a few snaps of the hot sauce shop. Went for another ramble and found a decent bar on Fairfax (can't remember it's name), and had a few imported beverages there. I think the pissed-up Irish tart who came on to me a few months ago was in there, so I avoided all contact, and chatted to some Oxford gents before heading back to the cinema.

It was a great cinema. Everyone had seen it before, just not necessarily with other fans, or at the cinema. There was a cool introduction and extremely brief Q&A session with Clu Gulager, who played the part of Burt, before the film started. There's something great about watching classic movies with a full cinema of fans. It finished just gone 1, and I'd completely forgotten that the clocks got put back whilst I was in there. Managed to call for a cab home and went straight to sleep. Shattered.
