For some reason, I still woke up early-ish, even though it's Colombus Day today and most people have the day off. It doesn't matter though, as I've managed to download Fifa 12 for the iPhone, so that will keep me occupied in any spare time. I also downloaded GTA: Vice City for the Macbook, so I have my options. I'd also rented out 'Thor' last night, so watch that again.
I had a gig to attend this evening, so it was wise to get my rest now as I'd probably be back late tonight. During my first bus journey of two on my journey to the Whisky-A-Go-Go, I got a call from Cody saying he'd pick me up somewhere down Sunset. This was much appreciated, as not only would it save me money, but would mean I wouldn't need to wait around hoping for a bus to turn up, that'd take me half-hour to get there.
Liam was working the lights for the show tonight, and managed to get us both in for free, and allowed us to stand in the lighting booth. Cody works lights for Fox television, and so was very keen to see the rig, and hopefully get a chance to do the lights for 'Spheres of Madness'…
I should probably mention the show was Decapitated headlining with support from Decrepit Birth and Fleshgod Apocalypse. All three bands were incredibly tight, sound was brilliant, and the drummers were all proper tight. A great show all round.
Having managed to consume nearly a months worth (weeks worth for me) of alcohol in 3 days, I stayed clear of any booze tonight. Lucky, because I didn't get in until about 1am, and had school first thing in the morning...
