Wednesday....average day had all around. Megs wrote the last 5 out of 30 reports and then lost them on the computer! STUPID!! I got given stuff by Rita Teacher to go through and check...fun times! A mojor part of the whole day was....my last horse riding session (it was with Grade 2), it's starting to get a bit emotional, all this 'last' stuff. SO I had a cracker of a horse riding session, waiting till last and had a good few rounds. I like to think I actually looked quite cool when I was riding....the horse was being VERY difficult, as his mate had already gone back to the stables, and he likewise wanted to join....I was not having any of that nonesense...I wanted a ride!! So had to use the wip to get him going....nearly crashed into the fence about 3 times, as I was saying turn left and he was saying 'I'm going home sunshine'...so had a few skids around teh place at a full canter....it was a tirinf process but I LOVED it!
In the evening we watched half of 'the tourist' which is obvioulsy filmed in a french cinema as when ever they speak french there is NO subtitles...so a little difficult at times! But we are both poop a scooped as Laxmi Dai has been waking us up at 5.30am...me unable to get back to slepp...I am very very tired at the moment! So early shirely night....last day of school tomorrow!!
THURSDAY....its been great so far!! really chilled day in all the classes, watching films and generally having a party. I have been moving between garde 2 and 4...2 is boring as Munjali teacher is getting me to hand out sheets of paper to the kids whereas in Grade 4 they were dancing! Meg had a great afternoon with a food party....they all bought in food, whihc was eaten AFTER lunch (lunch was insane....the best food ever so far in the dinning room, followed by ice cream) so as you can imagine NO ONE was hungry....but there were momo's....so we made room!! Played musiucal statues ect! Classic times.
Then at 1.00ish (1.30 for grade 4 as we are always late) we all went to the auditorium to watch a traditional Nepali band, no singing just instruments! But before leaving for that Kanchan teacher said a few really nice words of thanks to me and I had a little speech to the class about how I will miss them....they all they asked for my facebook and skype details...seriously am I in Nepal??
SO the band were fantabby dosey! Afetr about 2 song Reshu Mam pulled me and megs up infront of the whole school and made us dance with her...they all cheered us, its was actually great fun, being ceneter of attention and all that. Then the next song came on and Poonam (coffee beating club) started to dance, and my grade pulled me up to dance with her...I followed her moves, well tried. It was great fun, in the end Him Lal (vice-P) was dancing, Bikash (it man) had a fantastic dance...he's got the move. Then in true tradition, only byu the very end of the band playing did all the kids start to dance! Its the same all over the world obviously. BUT we did have a good dance some of the drivers, they are great, we loooooooove them.
Back to clasrooms and had to say our goodbye's...all the grade 4's asked for my signature....on them...so I was signing their foreheads, arms, cheeks....werid! Meg came down and she was swiftly attacked for a signature too. SO after that very bizzar experience we had hugs all around and bode farewell to our little buddies who we have been with for 5 months....its all getting very emotional now.
I met Shane the IB man and he has invited us out tonight to the same reggae band as last time, which should be fun. So quick tinternet check and we will be off out...a celebration/cry over the last day of school!
So tomorrow....report marking! YAYAYAYAYAY...how exciting!
Megla, all yours......
