Yes Rose,it was a corker of a cracker of a day! I loved it! Thanks SO much! So we chillaxed in Grade 4 for the evening in front of our new favourite film 'no strings attached' that we had brought a pirate copy of...and two rums, honey and lemons! I am truly very embarrassed about the watch situation, but i just don't know where it could have gone!
Onto today...a day trip out with the Grade 2's and 3's for a picnic.....they LOVE picnics here! LOVE them! So off we went at 9am after Rose played an epically realistic game of guns with the Grade 2 boys. A 1/2 an hour journey to somewhere beginning with 'K'....stopped off on a hill covered in litter for snacks...crisps and grapes....and then headed on and around a village.....Nanny Hills, you would have LOVED it....in one corner there was someone spinning sheeps wool, in another corner someone would be carving....it was incredible! Had a great few chats with Laxmi Dai, about ducks and stuff....and then onto a temple for literally 2 minutes, and then we were on the lookout for a picnic spot....yes being in Nepal, the teachers suggested a spot super far from the road, on a massive stony hill without shade! Classic....so after many suggestions from the whiteys due to our shin that shade was necessary....we found a few trees....! Literally the worst ever organized picnic the Drivers came down the huge hill with a feast on their backs...and with literally 20 minutes to go until we had to leave...they teachers, in the least efficient way possible started handing out lunch.....BUT THEN.....i saw children walking with their empty paper plates to this dried up river type thing and just drop their rubbish in it....embarrassingly after telling them off, i saw that the teacher was actually telling them to drop their rubbish there!!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!! Completely and utterly disgusted we went aroud picking up the litter on the floor and putting it into a plastic bag....but then....the Drivers chucked the plastic bag into the dries up river too!!
Rose later found out that the reason the rubbish was thrown down is due to the fact that the area is being concreted....However this was not explained at all to the children, who now think that it is acceptable to just leave their rubbish....! Rant over.....i am pretty upset about it....!
Onto other stuff.....rumours are going around that if it rains here, then we can't go outside due to the radiation coming across from Japan....we can't find these details on the news, and B-doggy dog gave us a weather explanation that says that it won't travel here, so hopefully not!
I think that thats it for now....another film tonight....you know standard!
Have a great day everyone!
Lots of love
