Hello all, hope all is well at home....we are rather excited by the amount of people who seem to be reading this from all parts of the UK! Lovely jubbly, keep the comments coming!
Anyhow, Sunday...awoke at approx 7.30am to Yvonn and Dinesh and two nepalese children from the village waking everyone up...took all of the 18 year olds an extremely long time to get ready...Rose di her bit and went into one of the girls tents and threatened to pull their covers off....good job Rose...all packed up, we went across the river to the guest house for breakfast...toast, omelette, fried potatoes, and even more chicken as we didn't eat it all on the barbecue last night! They literally eat every single bit of the chicken...Suzanne got a nice but of spine...!
Had a good look around 'the big fig' a massive fig tree that is over 200 hundred years old, and some gardens which weren't polluted! Definitely a first! Then a 5 hour bus journey home. long journey as the roads are just so awful! On the way back especially as it was all up hill and all of these roads are ruined due to the lorries that apparently are over weight and break the roads...The lorries here are definitely something to mention..they are awsome! All painted in bright colours...very hippy...love them!
Had a good chat to Mr American man (Nayan) on the way back...he is so lovely! He came and visited us in the Penthouse later on, (Our first official guest)!!! He invited us out for tea, but we declined the offer as we had skype dates set up! We spoke to Linda...very disappointed by her teasing...she flashe the cheddar cheese and the milk...!! And then we spoke to Sally, Liz, James, Chicky and Josh in Amesbury who we were also disappointed with as they flashed us the diet coke...next time people...lets all be nice! Was lovely to half speak to everyone, as they were able to speak, but we had to type as we aren't fully set up yet! Soon maybe! We do however now have wifi in our penthouse, so Rose's Itouch will come in use big time!
Today is Monday, we are both cream crackered and have slept alot today (we have had the day off as we have noone to teach as Grade 4 and 5 are also off) I have done my weekend marking and we are both on our 6th books...we really are educating ourselves in Nepal! We have also just watched our first whole film...thanks TV Catch up! Its the only website that works in Nepal!
Lots of love to everyone at home...we heard that the first Coca Cola advert has been played...that means...CHRISTMAS!!!
