Today I took my Godson to our first castle of 2017 - the Disneyesque Castell Coch, near Cardiff.
The castle is actually only a couple of decades older than 100 years, and was built on the site of a medieval castle. It was designed as a fantasy medieval castle, and is still intact. The audio guide is very good and informative. We both thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this unique castle.
