Today I took a coach to that there London, a bargain at just £11 return. The reason was a gig by two Aussie bands at the palatial Alexandra Palace. Tonight I set off to Cheltenham Town Hall to see Sarah Millican. She started the show for a few minutes before introducing her support act. Unfortunately, I can't recall her name, but she was very good and matched Millican's style of humour. Tonight Mum and I battled through the wet and very windy conditions into the heart of Surrey to see Matthew Bourne's take on the classic Tchaikovsky ballet Sleeping Beauty. Today a couple of us traveled to the picturesque riverside town of Tewkesbury to see comedian Romesh Ranganathan at the recently refurbished Roses Theatre, where they've done a fine job to the foyer. His support, Phil Jerrod, started proceedings with a 20 minute set and was very funny. I would definitely consider seeing him in his own right.
