Tonight, with a couple of friends, I went to Cheltenham Town Hall to see comedian Sara Pascoe. With no support, her set lasted just under a couple of hours. She comes across as having low self confidence but she shouldn't worry as she's clearly both funny and intelligent. Would definitely see her again.

Today I took a trip to Nottingham for the final of the WTA International Aegon Open at the Nottingham Tennis Season. I arrived in good time for an exhibition doubles match scheduled to start at Noon involving Jeremy Bates & Jocelyn Rae against Pat Cash and Anne Keothavong. Mum and I took ourselves off the The Vaudeville Theatre in London to see the new production of Hobson's Choice. This was a fantastic staging with a brilliant cast headed by the superb Martin Shaw as Hobson. They thoroughly deserved the standing ovation the end. Highly recommended.

Tonight a couple of us made our way to Birmingham to watch Adam Ant at The Symphony Hall. Naturally, not being one to disregard tradition, we started off with a lovely meal at The Handmade Burger Company. Adam's support were UK Feds, a Brummie 4-piece rock band with attitude.
