This morning lots of people had a bit of a lay in, and got up about 8:30am just before breakfast finished. Charlie and Dan then had lessons and Dave was off collecting a tour group, so I went off by myself and hoped to surf Mullaway. It was probably 3ft with some bigger sets, but it was crazy stormy. I had 1 good one, but then was getting smashed by so much whitewater, I got out 10 minutes later. Hopping back in the car I went round to Mulawarra and surfed the southern end, where the surf was sheltered from the southerly wind by the headland.
I went on to have a really good surf there. It was 3ft with some bigger sets, and I got a couple of really good ones, actually managing to practise some proper top turns. I was really pleased when I got to camp for some lunch.
In the afternoon it was nice and warm and there were lots of people around on the beach, so I spent most the time down there. I went swimming with Lorraine, then swam about while her and El went surfing which was good fun. Ross and I got involved with academy fitness and had a bit of a race, which was a good laugh.
Later we just cruised around as usual, then had some dinner. After dinner I had told my self I wouldn't drink, as I had to some extent every other night. This however went to pot, as Daveo convinced me to drink his Passion Pop with him.
I spent most the evening chatting and messing about with Daveo and the English twins (Hannah and Lucy) which was a really good laugh.
I eventually went to bed about 11:30pm, and despite the Passion Pop I felt fine.
