So this morning I had to get up at 5:30am to drive Alison (from Alison's Adventures) to Shellys beach for a photo shoot. The idea was she and Linda ran around in bikinis carrying her sponsored boards with Kangaroos around and the sunrise in the back ground.
I dropped them off and hung around for a little while, then got back to camp about 6:30am.
After having done a bit of work, I left to go and pick up Alison and Co. from Shellys. I got a few photos of Kangaroos etc then came back to camp. Just after sunrise is beautiful down there though, especially watching the lines of waves (that never seem to appear at Spot X..) coming in and barreling at Shellys.
Immediately after arriving back at camp I had to drive the academy to Woolgooga for their lesson, and take Ruby (accompanied by Carley) to hospital to get her ribs looked at, after cracking one on a paddle board, as it turned out.
Once I got back from the hospital I had to once again go back out and pick up the academy from Woopi.
Having got back my shift had finished and it was lunch time, so I had spent the whole day so far driving around in the van really..
After lunch I managed to jump in the van with the academy (plus Ross and Lenny) to go and surf Mullaway. I hadnt ever got round to surfing there so I was looking forward to surfing a new beach.
We got there and it was 2-3ft and glassy clean, breaking perfectly! I ended up having one of the best surfs Ive had in the last 2 weeks plus, because there just Havnt been any bloody waves.
We got back and showered etc just in time for dinner.
It was Carley's last night, and as she had pretty much become like a sister we got on so well, I stayed up to have a good laugh. I decided not to drink other than the odd beer though, after getting so drunk a few nights before.
I think most people ended up bailing and going to bed about 12 in the end as everyone was really tired.
