I'm writing this a day later again - need to catch up do this on the right day so I don't forget stuff!
I did the 6am-12 shift for the first time, which is just so easy - you help out a little at breakfast and after that all you do is just cruise around doing whatever you like. Awsome.
On that shift Rick took me out on a 'driving lesson' in the mini bus. It's pretty easy to drive, being automatic and Ausie roads arnt all that different from the UK so didnt take much getting used to.
On that same shift I took the Academy in the Mini Bus to Woolgooga for their lesson, which was pretty sweet as I got out of camp for 45 minutes, and I got to sit and watch the surf.
Having cruised around some more I picked up the Academey later on and then it was lunch time, and the end of my shift.
In the afternoon we sat around and chilled in the sun for a while on the grass, and I wrote up some of my OffExploring stuff. Later on I went for my first surf since Friday! It was so warm I didn't need a wetsuit, and it was just a fun surf anyway so didn't intend to stay out forever. We just all took out foamies and cruised on the choppy 1-2ft waves. Just about everyone was out in the water so it was a really good laugh. It didn't stop me thinking about how gutting it is to have missed the swell whilst I was ill..
After the surf I just chilled on the beach with Dan and Lenny etc, plus a whole load of clients. We just played football and chilled out really which was good fun.
Later on we had dinner and then went to my old cabin, as Dan, Daveo and Charlie were having a little 'house warming' party. They had managed to get hold of some fairy lights and Dillian had turned an old sink into an Awsome little fire pit. I am still on antibiotics so couldn't drink too much, so just had a couple of beers and chilled with everyone. It got a bit wild later on dancing on tables and stuff in the movie room, but I was in bed my 12 super tired.
