Kia Ora Guys

Well the weather has started to get better here as we enter the second week in November, yes we are in November and we find it hard to believe how quickly this year had gone, so far.

It has been another busy week for us,after the move last week we finally have the apartment looking how we want it,and Mel has access to a washing machine around the clock, so she is happy!!!!

The weekend arrived and on Saturday I took the ferry to work,and Mel had a busy day ahead. She took the car to the garage to be fixed after it got bumped last week,then from there it was off to Ponsonby for brunch with her friends. I was walking around the city and it was real hot, and just like the day we arrived exactly 1 year ago.

To celebrate our anniversary Mel met me in the city after work and we went for a meal at a nice restaurant called "The Wine Chambers" which was delicious and a treat we both deserved after reaching a prominent milestone.... The food was excellent and we even splashed out on some decent wine from the extensive wine list.

After such a nice Saturday evening we decided to continue our celebratory weekend with a trip to Parakai Hot Springs for a relaxing afternoon in the hot pools,which did the trick,as on the way home Mel was sparked out in the car!!!!

It had been a nice weekend and I still had the Monday off but unfortunately Mel had to go to work so I took care of the house chores,knowing it was a short week ahead. Mel was going to be busy as she has an interview tomorrow (Tuesday) and then a big one on Friday for the job she is doing now so everyone keep your fingers crossed!!!!!

Although as I am typing this she is sat doing a ton of research for them, and I have every confidence in her. If the weather continues to pick up we might take the bike out to Waiheke at the weekend,and we should also have our car back from the panel beaters by Friday which will be good too.
