We had some more sad news from back home today and it really brings home how far away we are, but our thoughts are always with everyone back home.Christmas is a time for family and friends and as we can't be there to see you all over the holidays, rest assured our thoughts are with each and everyone of you...
With it getting closer to us having to move out of the cottage for a week the focus today was finding another place to live for a week at the beginning of January. After a bit of searching on the internet and a few phone calls later we had a place sorted out across town for a few days.

I woke up today feeling pretty awful and think I must have picked up a bug,so most of the morning I mooched around and drank lots of tea!!!
You will be pleased to know that it goes just as crazy in the supermarket here as back home and it took us ages to get around the store for all the things we needed,I dread to think what it will be like tomorrow..
The seafood chowder I had for lunch really worked a miracle and I felt much better,Mel went off into Devomport to pick up my Xmas gift and came back an hour later with a bag of goodies including proper Lion Midget Gems from Cleckheaton which made me feel even better!!!
We got caught in an absolute downpour while out for a walk and we weren't prepared for it,by the time we got back home we were soaked to the skin and the water was running down our backs. The rain got heavier and heavier as the night went on but we were hopeful it would pick up for Christmas Day.
Will try and let you know how our first Xmas goes..
Lots of Love
M & Mxx
