After a tidy round the Air BnB we set off back to Brooklyn with a journey time of 2hrs 45mins. We made it all the way without stopping and therefore hit the city just after lunch time so traffic was not a huge problem for us.
Becky and I then headed into Manhattan to go to the Top of the Rock. Today being the final day we could use our city passes. As there was a lot of cloud cover it wasn’t busy and we were able to get a ticket to go up within twenty minutes as opposed to the two hours we were faced with on Friday. It was nice having the space to wander round and take photos without the huddled masses all trying to do the same thing. Also seeing some of the buildings nearby being surrounded by cloud was quite a sight.
Back on the ground we walked down fifth avenue to Korea town. In K bar we grabbed a snack, oysters for me and dumplings for Becky. For most of the time we were in there we had the establishment to ourselves. I enjoyed sharing a bottle of Soju with Becky washed down with our $3 Miller lites.
We engaged in a bit of touristy shopping for a little while before heading back to Stefan’s.
In the house we watched a new Netflix film that was entertaining until it just finished. Odd ending. A couple of glasses of wine went well with our pizza slices.
