Today was much cooler than previous days which provided a pleasant change. The cooler air meant that my morning run was a lot more enjoyable.
Later I took the 7 train west to Metz stadium stop. This stop not only serves to the New York Metz home ground of Citi field, but is the stop for the US Open Tennis. I walked around each stadium as best as I could. Next to the Arthur Asbee stadium is Flushing Meadows park. This park was the site of the 1964 Worlds Fair & a couple of buildings remain as a testament to this.
At six I headed to lower manhattan to meet Stefan & Amanda for happy hour in a bar they had frequented previously. On the way to dinner we got sidetracked by an English pub that had brown ale on draft. Dinner was macaroni & cheese. The placed specialised in different types. I had never previously been a fan but my buffalo chicken mac & cheese was lovely.
We then headed home via a newsagent where I was charged the extortionate amount of $1 for a fredo! We watched a downloaded episode of celebrity juice, which they both felt was very different from US shows before calling it a night.

lorm hansell I am concerned that your idea of English culture such as Geordie Shore &Celebrity Juice isnlt quite what one should introduce to Sete and Amanda.
