My birthday tradition of a McDonalds breakfast continued. This time instead of breakfast in bed though I had it in times square. Just making it before the 11am cut off.
Charlotte & Lorna were having trouble keeping pace with me on the streets so I have tried to slow my walk as to not to lose them.
We stopped off in Macy's to get my birthday present. Almost 12 years ago I had previously had a watch from Macy's & now I have new one that I am very happy with.
Following a pit stop in the hotel we headed to RIDE THE BEAST! The sun had come out & with the heat bearing down on us this was the best time to ride. Unlike last time where I sat on the front this time we were located near the middle of the boat, & boy did we get wet. It was a great ride with the music pumping I was glad Charlotte & Lorna could share the experience. Perhaps Charlotte was less glad to be sat next to me when one of the staff who had been playing tricks on everyone gave me a soaking with a bucket of water. At least many people will remember my birthday as part of there New York holiday!
We grabbed some snacks from the cafe around the corner of the ride, before I walked back to the hotel for an hours sunbathing.
With numerous thunderstorm warnings & possible tornadoes, we decided against the frying pan. Instead we had dinner at Chelsea piers. In a brewery no less! Here we were joined by Stefan, Amanda, Raj, & Eddie.
After dinner I suggested a trip to the nearby bowling alley. With the raining still pouring down, this was a sensible choice. I finally got my game going but it was too little to late.
With Eddie driving we travelled with Raj to a few bars before calling an end to an eventful night in the wee hours.
