Ponferrada Rest Day 1

Today I made the call to let my body recover and spend a few days resting in Ponferrada.

Luckily a family I Au Paired for last summer lives in Ponferrada and this morning came and picked me up from my Albergue (which kicks everyone out at 7:30am).

Turns out Marivi has an apartment in the middle of the city that she usually rents out but at the moment it is sitting empty - so this is now my rest and recovery spot for next few days maybe week.
Falling on my feet and having somewhere nice to rest means I can rest however long I like without putting anyone out!

So first thing I headed straight to shops and got some medical supplies and a load of good food :) Why not I now have a kitchen and the opportunity.

Rest of the day I have been icing the shins soaking the blisters and covering them in antiseptic!

I found a small tv and managed to find one channel in English - Discovery Max - yeah boiii my favorite, I might just stay a while :)
