Freezing cold night with no heating meant soon as the lights came on in the Albergue I was up and ready to go.
I drank 4 cups of tea and ate half a loaf of bread in the hope of warming my body up,
Thankfully today the rain had stopped, it was cold but least there was no rain :)
I guess we had to experience the Camino in the rain in order to appreciate the days without rain. I felt like screaming out I was so happy for the weather, the scenery the people - everything,
Today we walked through quiet a few small villages and large eucalyptus woodlands!
Darcy the guy I have been walking
with had a bit of a nagging injury so we slowed our pace which was also good for my shins!
We did however feel the need to get to our destination as early as possible as it is quiet obvious how many extra people are on the Camino now! Not to take anything away from the people who come to do the last 100km but they are a different kind of crowd and unfortunately not as friendly or intumescent with the spirit of the Camino.
Tonight we are staying in Palas de Rei a small town with a population of 2000!
So far the Albergue seems quiet good nothing flash but bearable! We are also in the centre of town which is handy!
Although spirits are up today I am ready to reach Santiago and finish the Camino for now!
68km and 3 days to go………
