After a good nights sleep I woke to another morning of horrible rain!
Setting off in heavy rain kind of zaps the enthusiasm out of the start of the walk and so the first few hours were a real grind being mainly uphill and into pouring rain!
I have started to notice many more people on the Camino as its the last 100km.
Today dragged on much like yesterday and the heavy rain came after our break. For the first time on the Camino I was completely drenched - pants and shoes and was glad to see our destination Portomarin!
I really have a lot of respect for those people that do the Camino in winter - Facing terrible weather everyday, wet clothes, shoes and no sunshine.
I am starting to look forward to my trip to Portugal now and haven't dismissed walking their or at the very least hitch hiking down there!
One good thing my body seems to be holding up better doing 20-25km days :)
93km to go
