Yesterday I went to Inmas school to talk to the students. I was asked to talk about my travels and inspire the students to do well in school and see the world, incorporating a bit of geography, history and Ofcourse English.
The school day started at 10:15am and went until 5:15pm so it was quiet a long day. I talked to 6 classes of students all in the upper primary. I really enjoyed it and the kids loved my photos and stories - maybe I have found the ideal job: going into schools and talking about travel and opportunities that can be found out there in the big wide world!
So after a day of talking and work if you can call it that I am very tired.
Tonight I had promised to cook dinner for Inma so I made her my Special Ozzy Omelette; with carrots, peas, onions, ham pieces and chopped parsley. A great dish for next day leftovers.
Tuesday was my day off so I could do lots of travel planning and talk to my Mother for her Birthday.
It was great to talk to my Mum and Dad and let them know I have booked a flight home from Malaysia on February the 15th for my sisters wedding.
I managed to organize a Couchsurf in Porto for two nights and book my bus tickets for Latvia to Estonia to Lithuania and into Polland. I also figured that I need a computer of some sort for my travels as it really is an invaluable tool in my life. I think I will go for the iPad just based on how great and easy to use all my apple products have been so far.
Tomorrow to Porto - Portugal with Inmas friend Roberto.
