Reflections:
Healing rooms
Having been promoted last week to the status of yellow dot, I was able to pray in a team of three. Today we had the opportunity to pray for several people; one of which was a bloke who had significant back pain. During the process of prayer, one of the team suggested that it might be an idea to have him sit down and we check whether one of his legs was longer than the other (which often results in back pain as a result of this abnormality). The guy had one leg longer than the other by about 1 inch or 25 mm. We then prayed and we saw the leg grow to an equal length with the other one. The bloke felt something taking place during this prayer. Afterwards he got up and tested his back and his pain levels and he was able to bend over and touch his toes and lift the affected leg in a particular manner ; something that he hadn't been able to do in years; all pain was gone. In addition, whilst he was being prayed for he had a significant encounter with the Father and this spiritual encounter was as significant for him as the physical healing.
We also prayed as a team for several other people and there were a number of healings that took place including blockage to the ears being unblocked; pain levels decreased in ears and throat decreasing from a threshold of around 5 down to 0. There was also one lady who suffered muscular strain from an injury at gym and her arm was completely restored to 99% mobility and all pain left.
It was exciting to see God move so powerfully and in my mind, it was a result not only of our team who prayed with conviction and a great deal of faith (understanding who they are in God and allowing His presence and authority to be released), But it is also a testimony of the atmosphere that is created in the Healing Rooms environment where faith levels and expectancy is so high that there were testimonies of people being partially and in some cases totally healed whilst sitting and waiting for prayer to occur. So in other words, before even being prayed for, due to the environment and 'presence of the Lord being available to heal', they were healed without even prayer being given. What a gracious and amazing God we serve.
Of course, not everyone got healed however the focus must be on who was healed and praise and glory given to the Lord for that fact, rather than looking at and being offended by the fact that some people were not healed. It reminds me of the time when Jesus went to the pool of Bethesda and He only healed one man and not the others for whatever reason. The question is always posed, this would indicate that God doesn't want to heal everyone whereas perhaps the real question should be 'is it not wonderful, the fact that Jesus healed this one man who was so profoundly disabled, and therefore praise given to God as a result?' Rather than criticising Him for not healing the others!?!
Tomorrow is Sunday and we have a full day including a prophetic class in the morning together with church activities in the afternoon and evening. Carole also attends prophetic art classes during the afternoon, so it will be a full but exciting day.
Love to all.
