Here is an update of what God is doing in our lives:
Carole has long been interested in Prophetic art and has had the opportunity of gaining some teaching from well-respected artists at Bethel. She's also taken some classes with one of the BSSM students who is also an accomplished artist. This has resulted in many paintings being placed around our house; (in strategic locations i.e. places that you cannot miss!); some of her art pieces are of really high standard. See photos attached. This is something that Carole is also really enjoying and is giving her much needed respite from minding children during the week.
As for me, the school continues to feed into my life and challenge many mindsets.
I'm currently doing an AMT ( Advanced Ministry Training) in 'healing' which is being conducted by Chuck Parry. There's something really powerful about Chuck's ministry. He has written a book about some of the testimonies of his life and the way God has used him and I feel really privileged to be in a smaller class that provides more face-to-face interaction with this man of God.
My main Ministry Activation is at the Healing Rooms which are being conducted on Saturdays. I spoke on this in a previous post and reiterate that it is a place where I am finding great encouragement and great challenge at the same time. In addition, Carole and I are doing some additional evening courses which are provided by Bethel Church. One of these is a course that teaches you how to effectively Host His Presence, or in more colloquial terms, 'practise the presence of God'. Another course we've just begun deals with the whole issue of learning to operate in the prophetic and again, this is an area where both Carole and I want to really grow and develop in this area of gifting.
Carole and I have joined a new small group which comprises a group of people who are all operating within the healing rooms and the main aim is to meet together to grow in intimacy with the Father and also for us as a group to go out into the streets and allow the Lord to direct us to people with whom we can pray for God's blessing and healing upon them. This should be a very challenging yet exciting group that we anticipate will feed a great deal into our lives and hopefully, raise us to a new level in our faith, but also in the representation of Father's love to the world in very practical and tangible outcomes.
This coming Thursday will be our first Thanksgiving dinner in USA. We have been invited by Bob and Nancy Dilworth with Bree and Sam, to have a Thanksgiving meal at their home.
So perhaps that's enough for this sitting. Thank you again for reading our blog and you're welcome to e-mail us at any time for comments or discuss any matters.
